New Realities
– Some of my works were selected for the exhibition “New Realities: Fashion Fakes – AI Factories” at the Museum für Kommunikation, Frankfurt. It takes place from march 21, 2025 bis January 11, 2026.
“The exhibition examines the interface between fashion, (fashion-) photography and AI visualization. As a cultural phenomenon, fashion is always associated with its “presentation”, but even more so with its depiction, which is why the exhibition focuses in particular on aspects of visual communication. Visitors are invited to reflect on the representation of fashion through generative AI in a playful way and to become active at the interface of analog and digital creation.”
The series “(Gimme) shelter” arose from the consideration of how clothing can assume a protective function in times of crisis. Not in the sense of an armour, but as a cocoon into which the individual withdraws. Protection from catastrophes, sensory overload, but also for people who are temporarily or permanently homeless.
